Professor Sun Shigang was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015 and member of the Royal British Chemical Society and the International Electrochemical Society in 2015 and 2017 respectively. He is currently the director of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Solid Surface Physical Chemistry, the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Chemical Society, and the executive director of the Chinese Society of Micron and Nanotechnology. Appointed as Editorial Board of Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, Functional Materials Letters, ACS Energy Letters, Journal of Solid State Electrohemistry, Electrochemical Energy Review, National Science Review, International Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry and other academic journals, Electrohim.
